As a territory that is directly administered by the federal government... The Federal Territory does have several excellent boarding schools in the country, among them are Victoria Institution (VI) Kuala Lumpur, Sekolah Menengah Teknik (SMT) Kuala Lumpur, Sekolah Menengah Teknik (SMT) Setapak, Setapak High School Kuala Lumpur, Sultan Alam Shah Putrajaya School & Sekolah Menengah Teknik (SMT) Labuan.

Although the number of boarding schools in the Federal Territory at the time this blogpost is being typed seems to be quite balanced with the population but in the view of the author of this blog... there is still potential space for the addition of several more boarding schools in the Federal Territory, especially in the parishes in the Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur which still does not have a boarding school.
